14th Annual Legislative West Side Day

We invite you to join us for West Side Day at the State Capital on Thursday February 9, 2023! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and make sure our voices are heard. Our representatives and local elected officials will be present to discuss legislation that affects West Side schools, businesses, and neighborhoods. We hope that you can join us in making sure that the needs of our community are met. With your help, we can create positive change and ensure a brighter future for our area.

Come and meet your West Side Legislators, Local Elected Officials, & Learn about legislation being introduced during the session.

We welcome the community's input on very important issues.

• 9:00 – 9:45 AM Rally in the Rotunda
• 10:00 – 10:45 AM - Civics Lessons for Middle &High School Students: House & Senate Chambers
• 10:00 – 11:00 AM - Roundhouse Tour & Scavenger Hunt for All Elementary Students
• 11:00 – 11:50 AM - West Side Day Proclamation - All Students: Senate & House Gallery
• 12:00 – 1:30 PM - Lunch Room: TBD

• 5:00 - 7:00 PM - West Side Day Legislative Reception Location: Rio Chama
