We celebrated our Community Champions, Local Artisans, and Community!

Updated: Oct 20, 2021

The 2021 Route 66 West Fest held at the Ted M Gallegos Community Center was a huge success! It was great to see community members, elected officials, city & county offices, and area businesses come out to celebrate our rich culture & history that is Albuquerque.

We attribute this success to all of our partners who participated to make it happen! With over 100 cars in the show & shine, 45 product and informational vendors, 12 food trucks/food service vendors, 12 featured entertainer's, and over 40 artist represented at the Arte Escondio Art Display, The WCCDG Board of Directors is grateful to all who joined us.

We believe this kind of unity builds our community!

We'd like to give a special thanks to Event Chair Lorenzo "House" Otero, Vice Chair Geraldine Ulibarri, La Familia Car Club, event team Monique Romero, Jerry Gallegos, Rachael Hernandez, Nancy Montano, Becky Davis, and of course our volunteers from Mark Armijo Academy, CYFD, & The City of Albuquerque!
